I am documenting the Owens family (some Owen) descended from John Owens, who died in 1712 in Richmond Co. VA. I have several thousand now, mostly in the locations shown below. The 1991 edition of my book is in a number of genealogy libraries. It is now out of print, but I can produce excerpts from my data file.
If you have Owens ancestors in the following counties (or you find them in my Seeking Owens Queries), please let me know; we may be able to help each other. I am always looking to trace my Owens lines to the present (or as far as they go).
